Hello! Here is the reading schedule for May. As outlined in my earlier post, this slow read has a schedule that divides the 1000-something-page book into bite size chunks; my hope is that this slow (and it’s quite slow) read of this literary treat will make room for reflection, critique, ideas, historical research, comments, and thoughts - all of which you can share in the comments of each weekly update (like sunday’s post!), or in the Chat.1
I would like to remind you that the page count in the schedule is only indicative; I’ve based the page count off of the 2017 Pan Books edition which has a total page count of 1076 pages. Any edition of the novel, however, can be enjoyed; personally, I’ve found even the audiobook narrated by John Lee to be quite enjoyable!

Next month the relaxed read-along of Maurice will begin! Be ready if you’d like to join!
